About us

About Concrete Contractor Homer Glen

A concrete crew that measures, writes it down and plans every joint before the truck is called.

How We Got Here

Concrete Contractor Homer Glen exists because too many slabs fail for avoidable reasons. Base skipped to save an hour. Pitch eyeballed instead of measured. Joints cut late, cut shallow or not cut at all. A homeowner pays good money and ends up with a patio that holds water and a crack that runs right through the middle of it.

So we run every job like a project, not a pour. Measure first. Write the price out line by line. Decide the joint layout and the fall before the forms are set. Then build it in the right order, with nobody rushing the parts you will never see.

That approach is the same for a four-foot sidewalk square or a full commercial sidewalk run. The size changes. The checklist does not.

The Goal

Slabs that sit flat, shed water away from the house and split only along lines we chose. A price anyone can read. A crew that leaves the yard as they found it, minus the old concrete.

What Makes Us Different

  • Joint layout on paper

You see where the control joints go before the pour, so the finished lines never surprise you.

  • Line-item pricing

Thickness, base, steel, finish and tear-out each listed in writing before anything starts.

  • Drainage measured

Fall is shot with a level and checked again before the truck arrives.

  • Homes and businesses

Front walks, backyard patios, storefront sidewalks and dumpster pads, all to the same standards.

  • Base never skipped

Firm subgrade and compacted stone under every slab, deeper on clay.

  • Yard left clean

Rubble trucked off, boards stripped and dirt raked against the new edges before the crew drives away.

Our Non-Negotiables

These are the non-negotiables on every job we take.

  • Compacted crushed stone base matched to the soil
  • Thickness and steel sized to the load
  • Control joints laid out before the pour
  • Damp curing in the first days after placement

Our Territory

Crews cover Homer Glen and nearby towns including Lockport, Lemont, Mokena, Orland Park, Orland Hills, Tinley Park, Palos Park, Palos Hills, Palos Heights and Burr Ridge.
